All You Need To Know Before Investment

The Light of Hope Investment Hub is a crowdfunding platform designed to scale our initiatives and support other sustainable ventures in education, climate change, and family health and well-being. By investing with us, you contribute to impactful, community-driven projects that promote ‘Made in Bangladesh’ brands globally.

There are multiple projects available in our platform, currently all managed by Light of Hope. An investor will confirm investment for particular project and the return on investment will be defined as per the project details. The Investor will get back their investment and profit amount within 30 days of the project completion date.

Each project will have a project completion deadline and you will be able to withdraw your capital investment and profit within 30 days of the completion date.

You will be provided with a money receipt , an investment certificate for all amount of investment and an agreement of Investment in 300 BDT Stamp paper for more than 5 Lakh BDT investment.

You will need to provide your official Name, Address, Phone Number and NID number for proof of Identity. Additionally you will need to share Name, Address, Phone Number, NID Number and relationship status for an nominee who will be eligible to withdraw the amount if you are unavailable.

Business investments are not 100% risk free. As all our currently available projects are managed by Light of Hope, we take sufficient risk minimization steps. As we are currently working with Non-perishable items only, where there can be risk of delayed sales, there is low chance of completely loss of goods. Hence the investor may get their investment and profit amount at a later date than committed due to unforeseen business challenges. The investors will be well informed and a date for repayment will be mutually decided in this kind of situation.

Yes you will be able to invest in multiple projects and we will have separate agreement and documentation for separate investment.

Usually the funds are utilized to purchase products and for sales related expenses. Details of use of funds will be available in each project description separately. We want to keep the use of funds in a halal compliant method.
